Which heater should I use for a wooden 2 person hot tub?

Which heater you want usually comes down to personal preference. Here at Neptune, we think you’ll love the wood-fired version of the hot tub, since nothing beats the romance of a live fire. However, one of the key reasons people choose a gas stove, is if you live in a built up area and aren’t able to burn wood due to restrictions from your local authority (e.g,. if you’re in a low smoke zone).

How long does a 2 person hot tub take to heat up?

To heat the bergen 2 person tub from 5 degrees to 38 degrees (celsius), you can expect it to take between 30 minutes to 1 hour. For other tubs this can take up to 4 hours. This will depend on which heater and fuel you use as well as the water capacity of the tub. To speed up the heating time between uses, we’d recommend using an insulated cover, as that will help retain heat between uses.

What are the dimensions for a 2 person hot tub?

Dimensions will vary depending on what style of tub you choose but vary from anywhere between 5-6 feet (about 150 – 185 cm diameter). Our Bergen 2 person tub isn’t a conventional circular shape, which saves space whilst still looking elegant. It means you can fit it onto smaller terraces, rooftops and gardens whilst retaining as much space as possible. It’s dimensions are 190 x 120 x 104cm.

Which type of gas can I use for heating this 2-person hot tub?

All standard LPG gas bottles can be connected. Please note a gas-certified engineer will be required to set up the connection and test it for the first use. This is because whilst every care is taken to ensure the item is securely packed, components can move during transport.
